Differentials
tedrive is the only large volume supplier of complete differential assemblies. With some 40 years of experience in the production of differential components, our teams understand all the technical intricacies of these products.
Cost effectiveness is the focus of tedrive production, with its lean machining and assembly processes. All our processes, including logistics, are continually optimised with the goal of creating value more efficiently. Using state-of-the-art assembly lines, we can produce 2 million differentials per year in all common varieties, including chamber and ball designs.
Our manufacturing philosophy in the differential segment is based on two fundamental approaches:
integration capability and standardisation.

We’re focused on integration capability through flexibility in interface dimensions. In doing so,
we take a variety of parameters into consideration, such as:
- distance between bearings and their diameter
- flange position and diameter
- driveshaft connections, e.g. splines, sealed differentials,
flanges and polygons
By standardising their chamber and ball designs, our differentials deliver the greatest possible efficiency.
The current product range covers two ball design variants for B and C segment vehicles and three types
of chamber designs for C and CD segment cars as well as light commercial vehicles.
