Product Development

tedrive’s development departments are staffed by highly motivated teams of design, test and process engineers with immense experience developing driveshafts, differentials and steering systems. Our intricate OEM understanding enables us to solve the technical problems facing our customers. We accompany our customers throughout the entire product life cycle, from conception and technical project management to mass production and post-model support. tedrive’s development services also include prototyping, fatigue and strength analyses, NVH trials and driving dynamics testing. And we always employ the latest simulation tools.

At tedrive, product development, trials, quality control and production are closely interwoven. All of our locations unite these disciplines under one roof, generating considerable cost and quality benefits. Dueren, Germany and Praszka, Poland operate in a development and manufacturing alliance for selected driveline technology projects. And an even closer exchange exists between our two steering facilities in Wuelfrath, Germany and Cumbica, Brazil. We can thus guarantee uniform processes worldwide – and the highest possible product quality.

We understand the engineering trade and utilise simulation, measurement and NVH analysis tools, amongst others. The uncompromising quality of our products is attributable to the close cooperation between the CAE, development and testing departments. Our focus on comprehensive CAE support helps optimise development times and testing efforts. By employing state-of-the-art simulation and calculation technology, we enable early verification of our components. Consequently, we can offer our customers solid support right from the initial vehicle development stages.

tedrive development services cover all established methods, such as the robustness and reliability analyses that are necessary to conduct functionality and endurance testing on components and subsystems in a complete vehicle context. Furthermore, the company’s mobile all-wheel-drive noise measurement laboratory gives tedrive the possibility to perform product tests on vehicles in development in the privacy of the customer’s own premises.
